There are a variety of car digital thermometer models available to pick from. Some are simple and only provide the temperature outside, while others have a lot more features and even have an alarm clock, compass, maximum and minimum recorded temperature, or a back light. Most work with Velcro or double sided tape in order to attach to your dash and are simple to hook up. A few are battery powered and some plug directly into a cigarette lighter. Most work with an external temperature sensor to be able to provide an accurate outside reading. The external temperature sensors are simple to put in and usually are attached in the door jam, the bumper, or right behind the license plate.
